Natural Beauty

Although I am a little nervous posting an artwork like this...

The Women's Health (I think) was holding an art contest about body image, and my teacher at the time made this a project where we would have a section of a body to do and have it pieced together with two other students. This was done long ago, but since then, I developed interest in the human figure.

I've always wanted to do a piece involving nature. The flowers in the chest area are a little odd placed, but overall, a semi-decent piece. BTW, the flower in the middle (trying to find a more acceptable word, but failed) is a lily, the flower of viriginity.

Done with acrylic, watercolor, and charcoal. Again, like most artwork, I apologize for the crappy photo.
